Description
The Crescendo-Systems DPA5 is the first in a series of digital power amplifiers. The DPA5 is a 5 channel 150W into 4Ω per channel amplifier designed with home-theater in mind. In contrast to most digital amplifiers, the DPA power amplifiers frequency characteristics is not influenced by the speaker load which is the main reason for its transparent sound. Just as with the 'SOLO' the protection circuits that fully protect the amplifier against overheating and output failure are not in the signal path so that nothing is in the way between the amplifier and your music.
Like with the 'Solo' ... you can hear the music as it has been recorded!
